About Us

At Singleton Connection Consulting, we believe that families—especially those raising adolescents and young adults—deserve mental health support that is culturally attuned, practical, and deeply human. Founded by Tyler Singleton, LCSW, our practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens in spaces where people feel safe to be fully themselves.

Meet Tyler Singleton

Therapist, Developmental Coach, and Founder

Tyler is a licensed clinical social worker in both North Carolina and South Carolina, with over five years of experience working with children, teens, and families across research, managed care, and direct clinical counseling. Her work has taken her into communities, schools, and federal programs like the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a focus on mental health, chronic illness, stigma, and health disparities—especially as they impact youth and marginalized families.

As a Black woman raised in the South, Tyler brings a deeply personal lens to her practice. She understands the internal tension of navigating spaces that expect you to be someone you’re not—whether due to your name, your beliefs, or your background. That lived experience shapes her approach to therapy: empathetic, nonjudgmental, and committed to helping clients process the often subtle and overt ways that racism, identity pressure, and social media can impact mental wellness.

Through Singleton Connection, Tyler supports young people in developing emotional resilience, self-awareness, and confidence—while also equipping parents and caregivers with tools they can actually use in everyday life. Her integrative clinical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, always tailored to each client’s story, strengths, and goals.

Whether you're a teen figuring out who you are, or a parent seeking better ways to support your child, we’re here to walk with you—not with judgment, but with curiosity, evidence-based guidance, and a commitment to your long-term well-being.

At Singleton Connection Consulting, we don’t just provide therapy. We create space for transformation.
